Since 1998, we've been serving hospitals and stroke advocates across our state guided by a mission to reduce the incidence and impact of stroke. In assessing our role in North Carolina’s evolving healthcare system, much of what NCSA has advocated for over the years is now standard practice for hospitals of every size. We believe our mission has in many ways been satisfied and, at our most recent board meeting, the decision was made to begin closing our operations and disbursing our remaining grant dollars by June 30, 2019.

For all who have been involved with, or have supported the NCSA over the years, it is with humble appreciation that we can now share the message that it was a job well done!
