Cycle for Life Bike Tour
The North Carolina Stroke Association hosted its 10th annual “Cycle for Life” bike tour on Saturday, October 5th at Hanover Park Vineyard in Yadkinville, North Carolina. Cyclists from all over North Carolina participate in the bike tour choosing from among the 7-24-40-64-100 mile route options.
The proceeds from Cycle for Life support the North Carolina Stroke Association’s Grant Program. Grants are awarded to hospitals for the benefit of implementing stroke programs in their community, and in their hospitals. Since launching the grant program in 2008, the Stroke Association has granted over $100,000 to North Carolina rural hospitals.
The tour includes good exercise, home-baked desserts and cookies, beautiful scenery, great food provided by California Fresh Catering, music, camaraderie, and wine tasting from among Hanover Park Vineyard wines.
We invite you to view the photographs of the Cycle for Life bike tour, and mark your calendar to join us next fall.
