Support NCSA

The North Carolina Stroke Association’s mission is to reduce the incidence and impact of stroke in North Carolina through relationships and collaborations to facilitate screening, education, outcome assessments, and advocacy. The NC Stroke Association is a 501 (c) (3) organization.

Your dollars help NCSA in its work to reduce Stroke incidence and impact by:

  1. Increasing public awareness through Stroke risk screenings and education on Stroke risk factors and Stroke symptoms, and
  2. Enhancing post-Stroke survivor and caregiver quality of life.

NCSA exports its programs — the Stroke Risk Identification Program and Beyond the Hospital — to hospitals throughout the state for implementation. Hospitals and medical centers across North Carolina operate NCSA programs, many with financial assistance from NCSA. Our goal is to make these programs available in all 100 counties of North Carolina.

Your donations go directly to reducing the impact and incidence of Stroke. NCSA uses 100 percent of its donations to fund, administer and maintain its various programs.

For more information about making a donation to the North Carolina Stroke Association, please contact Beth Parks, NCSA executive director, at (336) 713-5052 or email at .

If you or a loved one are experiencing Stroke symptoms, call 911 and get to the hospital IMMEDIATELY! Treatments are available that may dramatically reduce a Stroke’s devastating effects—but they must be provided within a few hours of the onset of a Stroke.
