Volunteers are a key resource for Caregiver Support Groups and Stroke Support Groups. They provide a forum for caregivers and for Stroke survivors to discuss the issues that surface with Stroke.

NCSA needs volunteers to organize support groups. We will provide the educational materials and the guidance to people who would like to begin a support group in their communities.

If you are interested in starting a support group in your community and would like NCSA to assist you, please contact our office at (336) 713-5052 or send an e-mail to Beth Parks at .

If you or a loved one are experiencing Stroke symptoms, call 911 and get to the hospital IMMEDIATELY! Treatments are available that may dramatically reduce a Stroke’s devastating effects—but they must be provided within a few hours of the onset of a Stroke.
